First, we want to update families on morning traffic. This is the normal congestion that occurs when many cars arrive within the same short window each day. Our school, the District, and County Traffic Engineering have all completed a full review of signal timing, roadway capacity, and campus traffic flow during semester 1, and now semester 2. All feasible adjustments have already been made, and the roadway remains oversaturated during peak times. The only reliable way to ensure students arrive on time is to leave home earlier. Please plan for additional travel time each morning.
A reminder that all student drop‑off and pick‑up must take place in the front car loop only. The student parking lot is reserved for student drivers with a parking pass or for approved learner‑permit driver swaps. All other vehicles must use the front loop. Prom tickets for the 2026 Masquerade Ball: Diamonds Are Forever are now available to Juniors and Seniors in Rycor. Ticket prices increase on March 20, April 13, and April 27. Guest forms for non‑CCHS students are due April 24 at 2 PM.
Join us for Coyote Theatre’s Night of One Acts on March 12 and 13 at 6:30 PM, featuring Café Murder and The Wizard of Oz. Tickets are available on GoFan.
Thank you to everyone who completed the Annual Family Feedback Survey. Strengths identified include school perception, communication, and a welcoming environment. Priority themes include academic support awareness, tailored support for diverse learners, and clearer communication of academic resources. We will share action steps soon.
Next Friday is the end of Quarter 3. Please check grades and work to rectify any missing assignments that can be made up next week. Tutoring is always available after school each Tuesday in room 04-111 from our NHS students.
Finally, students with a B Lunch Leave pass or 6th‑period off‑campus placeholder must exit campus—including the parking lot—within five minutes of the bell. Remaining on campus without authorization may result in loss of privileges or disciplinary action.
