The Florida Department of Education released school grades today, and we are thrilled to share that Cypress Creek High School has earned an “A” rating for the 2024–2025 school year! We’re also proud to share that CCHS ranks #2 among all regular high schools in Pasco County (excluding technical schools) in percent of total points earned—with a score of 68!
In Florida, a rated school means it receives an annual letter grade (A through F) from the Florida Department of Education based on its performance on standardized tests and other measures, such as graduation rates and college readiness. These grades are designed to measure school performance and hold them accountable. Schools are evaluated on various components, including student achievement in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, as well as graduation rates and college readiness (e.g., SAT scores, participation and performance in college-level courses).
