


Cypress Creek High School Theatre Program
CCHS offers theatre classes for every grade on campus. There are also opportunities at every grade level to perform in live stage productions. A play is produced in the spring for grades 9-12. In addition, there are performance opportunities with the Comedy Improvisation Troupe – The Bandits, who perform twice a year, as well as the Thespian Honor Society competition at the district and state levels.

Mr. Krasowski
Theatre Teacher
Rich Krasowski ( Mr. K. ) was born and raised in Chicago. He holds degrees in Theatre, Music Education, Speech and Communications. He studied Theatre under Donald Shanower, Jack Phend, Kate Wullie, and Joyce Klowden-Porter. He studied voice with Rolf Moan, Karen Brunnsen, Weston Noble and Bernard Izzo, from the Chicago Lyric Opera. He is listed in “Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities” and “Most Outstanding Senior Man” of his class at North Central College.
Along with thousands of theatre and music performances over the last 48 years, Mr. K. also acts and directs in local community theatre. Recently, you may have seen him at Stage West, Richey Suncoast Theatre and Tarpon Springs Center For The Performing Arts. He is a talented musician and plays guitar, bass, banjo and keyboards. He has worked as an on-air personality at WONC-FM in the Chicago area. Mr. K. is an Eagle Scout and has worked for the Boy Scouts of American. He has owned and operated two theatrical-based companies throughout the years. Mr. K has spent most of his life as a Contemporary Choir Director in his church. He is a life-long horologist and restores antique cars in his spare time. He can’t wait to share his love and passion for theatre and music with the students at Cypress Creek High School.
