Our School Counseling Department is committed to supporting every student throughout their high school journey. School counselors work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and staff to promote academic success, personal growth, college and career readiness, and successful preparation for life after graduation.
How Can Your School Counselor Help?
School counselors are available to assist students and families with a variety of needs, including:
- Academic Planning – Course selection, graduation requirements, academic progress, credit recovery, and developing a plan for high school success.
- College & Career Readiness – Postsecondary planning, college applications, scholarships, financial aid resources, career exploration, and preparation for life after high school.
- Personal & Social Support – Helping students navigate challenges that may impact their academic success, well-being, relationships, or school experience.
- Graduation Planning – Monitoring progress toward graduation requirements and helping students understand available diploma pathways and opportunities.
- Student Resources & Referrals – Connecting students and families with school-based and community resources when additional support is needed.
Connecting With Your School Counselor
Students are encouraged to build a relationship with their school counselor and reach out whenever they need assistance. Whether you have a question about your schedule, need help planning for graduation, are exploring college or career options, or simply need someone to help you determine your next steps, our School Counseling Team is here to support you.
Parents and guardians are also encouraged to partner with our counselors throughout their student’s high school experience. Working together, we can help every student stay on track, take advantage of available opportunities, and develop a plan for success beyond high school.
