K. Strok-Feeley is a 2013 graduate of Ravenna High School and attended Kent State University since 2011, graduating with a B.M. in music education and jazz studies in 2017.
Strok has previously served on band staff through the Waterloo Viking Marching Machine (Atwater, OH) in 2014-2017. Strok now serves as the Director of Bands at Cypress Creek High School (Wesley Chapel, FL). There she directs the Band of Coyotes, Jazz Society, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Basketball Band.
Strok is an alumnae of the following Kent State University ensembles: The Marching Golden Flashes, Flasherbrass, KSU Concert Band, KSU Communiversity Band, KSU Jazz Combos, and the KSU Jazz Orchestra. Strok is a Founder and alumnae member of the Honorary Music Fraternity, Delta Pi Upsilon (Alpha chapter). Strok is also an avid composer and arranger for jazz ensembles, athletic bands, and concert ensembles.
Strok has also performed with Northeast Ohio Singer/Songwriter Shelby Olive. She has performed with Olive for her album and EP releases (Make Sound and BAD FOR ME). She performed on bass guitar and saxophones. She has performed at Musica of Akron, the High Arts Festival of Columbus, and the Empire Music Club of Akron.
