We hope this message finds you soaking up the sunshine and enjoying a relaxing summer break! 🌴☀️ As we gear up for another exciting school year at Cypress Creek High School, we wanted to share a few important updates before you start your back-to-school shopping.
We are excited to share our first Community Howler Hub of the school year! This hub contains important information for families and is organized in alphabetical order by topic for ease of reading. If you have a question about anything, please read this hub first.
Student schedules will go live tomorrow, Tuesday, July 28th. There are several steps Parents/Guardians & Students must take prior to viewing your schedule via MyStudent. Please review your schedule carefully and follow the process below if you need to request a change.
Please only submit ONE Schedule Change MachForm per IP address. The form will not accept multiple submissions from the same IP address. Please note that submitting a request may result in changes to your entire schedule—including your assigned lunch. We will do our best to minimize changes, but this is not always possible due to class balancing.
New this year: You will receive an approval notification email or denial (along with a reason for the denial) via email. If your request meets the criteria and can be accommodated, it will be processed before the first day of school, with the goal of responding to as many requests as possible prior to Open House. Please note that any approved schedule changes may take up to 24 hours to sync and appear in MyStudent.
As proud Coyotes, we want to start the year off strong and in style—while following the rules! Pasco County Schools’ dress code will continue to be strictly enforced this year. Please take a moment to review the graphic in the Howler Hub for a clear breakdown of what’s acceptable on campus.
In addition, the Wireless Communication Device Policy for high school students will be strictly followed. Students may not have phones, AirPods, earbuds, or wired headphones, out during the school day, except at lunch. Smart Glasses are strictly prohibited from campus at all times. We encourage everyone to continue to embrace this policy as part of our school culture.
Take advantage of the Florida Sales Tax Holiday throughout the entire month of August! It’s a great time to stock up on clothing and school supplies while saving a few bucks.
Join us for our Open House on Friday, August 7th from 12:00–3:00 PM on the Cypress Creek campus. Kona Ice and Tom’s Coffee will be available for purchase—come meet your teachers and get ready for a great year!
