Good afternoon High School Coyotes,

I want to begin by celebrating our students’ outstanding attendance this week. We have had a superb turnout for our District EOCs, statewide assessments, and semester exams and projects. I am incredibly proud of our Coyotes for the diligence, focus, and determination they have shown as they approach their exams. Their commitment to success has truly been impressive.

As we look ahead to next week, please note that Monday is a school holiday. Students will return on Tuesday, beginning with our final exam block for 6th period. All students should report directly to their 6th period class upon arrival.

Beginning Wednesday, May 27 through the final day of school on May 29, we will implement our end-of-year bag policy. Backpacks and any bags larger than half a sheet of paper will not be permitted on campus. Students may bring small clutch purses, fanny packs, or lunch bags only.

I also want to reiterate our expectation regarding electronic devices. Devices should not be visible on campus at any time during the school day. Any phones or headphones that do not fit inside an approved small bag should be left at home. Students may not carry devices in their hands, wear them around their necks, or have them attached to the outside of bags.

Our Senior Class has several important and celebratory events next week:

  • Wednesday: Senior Breakfast
  • Thursday: Graduation Practice and Clap-Outs
  • Friday: Senior Olympics

Seniors are expected to attend all of these events, and participation will count toward their full-day attendance SRA for 5/27-5/29.

For our 9th–11th grade students, attendance is expected each day from May 27 through May 29 in their regularly scheduled classes. Instruction and required learning will continue through the final bell, and unexcused absences will impact grades.

Finally, we invite you to join us for our Growlers Athletics Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:00 PM in the gym. All student-athletes and their families are welcome as we celebrate a fantastic year of Coyote athletics.

Thank you for your continued support. We are so proud of our students and grateful for our partnership with you as we finish the school year strong

Have a great 3-day weekend, Coyotes 💛🐾
