High School Coyote Families,
As we wrap up another wonderful week at The Creek, we’re excited to share some celebrations and important reminders featured in this week’s Community Howler Hub.
First, we are thrilled to announce that Cypress Creek High School has been recognized as a Unified Champion School by Special Olympics, reflecting our commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students. We also extend heartfelt congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Phyllis Crain, and our School-Related Personnel of the Year, Ruthdali Torres, whose dedication and care make a difference in the lives of students every day.
Looking ahead, Tom’s Coffee and Kona Ice will be on campus during both lunches next Wednesday. Students can enjoy a treat while supporting student and staff incentives and technology initiatives.
Families, please encourage students to check the Lost and Found and our confiscation area as soon as possible. Unclaimed items will be donated, recycled, or otherwise processed after the end of Quarter 1 on October 9th.
There are also many exciting opportunities to get involved through the volunteer opportunities highlighted in this week’s Hub. Be sure to mark your calendars for our College Fair on October 7th in the CCHS Gym, and watch for the upcoming District Family Survey, which will be available from October 5th through October 16th. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to grow and improve.
