Parking Passes cost $40 per tag for a full year pass. Passes purchased in Sem 2 starting January will cost $20.

Parking Procedures and Expectations
Cypress Creek High School Parking Expectations & Procedures Parking at Cypress Creek High School is a privilege. When a student wants to park on campus during the school day, their vehicle must be properly registered, and their parking tag displayed. Please review all parking procedures with your parent(s)/guardian. GUIDELINES 1. Limited parking spaces are provided for students in the parking area. Student parking is in designated areas only; there is no parking on the grass, in the fire lanes, faculty/staff areas, or in visitor parking areas. 2. Each student parking space will be numbered; therefore, each student must park in their assigned space. 3. Do not back into a parking space at any time. Use only one space per vehicle. 4. Students who qualify (see below) may purchase parking tags. 5. Loitering in the parking area is not permitted. After entering the parking area, all students must leave their cars immediately, report to class and remain on campus the entire school day. If a student leaves campus without signing out through the Student Services office, his/her parking tag will be revoked. 6. Cars are not to be used as lockers; students should return to their cars only when leaving school at the end of the day and/or after signing out in the Student Services office. 7. Students who have been approved to leave early during the school day may leave only at the appropriate time and park only in the designated area. 8. Parking tag must be displayed at all times. 9. All traffic laws will be enforced for the safety of everyone. QUALIFICATIONS To qualify for a parking tag a student must: 1. Must have a valid driver’s license. 2. Must have current vehicle registration. 3. Must have proof of insurance. 4. Pay a $40.00 parking fee. 5. Meet district attendance requirements. 6. Attend and complete the CCHS Driver’s Safety Class. (Safe Behind the Wheel) 7. Students must complete the Student Parking Application PARKING TAG REGULATIONS 1. Once issued, the parking tag cannot be altered. Tags must be visibly displayed on the front windshield. 2. Any changes to your permit information, such as a new vehicle or license tag, must be made immediately and can be done at no cost. 3. Replacing a lost permit cost $40.00 4. Students may not share parking permits or move permits to different vehicles. SUSPENSION/REVOCATION A student’s parking privilege may be suspended or permanently revoked for the following reasons but are not limited to: 1. Being in the parking area during the school day without permission. 2. Transferring or receiving a parking tag that belongs to another vehicle. 3. Parking in unauthorized areas. 4. Exceeding the 5-mph speed limit in the parking area. 5. Reckless driving and/or speeding in the parking lot, or within the perimeter of the school grounds. 6. Excessive absences, tardies to school and/or failure to meet the districts’ attendance policy requirements and student code of conduct. 7. Leaving campus without permission. MISCELLANEOUS 1. If a student’s parking privilege has been revoked or denied, under no circumstances will that student be granted a temporary parking permit. 2. Vehicles displaying words, graphics, or designs that are poor in taste or create disruption, in the opinion of the CCHS administration, are prohibited. 3. To ensure the safety and protection of the student population, Florida Law provides for a search of any vehicle on campus by the administration upon reasonable suspension that a violation of the Code of Student Conduct is occurring at the school or a school function. 4. Students who continue to park their car at school without permission or authorization are subject to being towed at their own expense and/or receive consequences related to defiance. *Administration reserves the right to suspend or revoke parking privileges at any time.
